This policy explains what Collab, operated by Vert Ventures, collects and how it is used.
Collab sends outreach from its own addresses on txtcollab.com, signed with your name, and only after you approve each email by text. Brand replies come to Collab, which texts you about them. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Collab can instead send your pitches from your own Gmail account, if you choose to connect it.
It then asks Google for your email address and permission to send email on your
behalf (the gmail.send scope). It cannot read, search or delete anything
in your inbox. An AI writes each email draft; you see the full draft by text and Collab sends it
with gmail.send only after you approve it. We store the access token Google issues,
encrypted, only for sending the emails you approve, and people at Vert Ventures do not read your
Google data except with your permission, for security, or as required by law. You can disconnect
at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions
or by asking Collab; we delete the stored token when you do.
Collab's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We share information only with service providers that run Collab for us (hosting, messaging, email delivery and AI model providers), under contracts limiting their use to that service, and with brands only in the emails you approve.
You can stop Collab at any time by texting it, and ask us to delete your data by texting Collab or emailing us.
We will post changes here. Contact us with any question.
